One fall I took pictures of the Laguna West-Lakeside and the Stonelake areas of Elk Grove and thought it would be fun to take a look at spring in the neighborhood. Fall has always been my favorite, but when the Fruitless Pears are in bloom, it can be spectacular. This year there was not much rain so the trees looked beautiful. I would expect to see these trees in Narnia, not Lakeside.

This is in front of the Lakeside Clubhouse along Maritime Drive.

My wife and I live in the Lakeside neighborhood called Southshore, but this is my wife's favorite street in Laguna West. These homes on Cederwood way have a detached garage with a room over the top that is perfect for an office, playroom or even a work out room.

This is the area just behind the Laguna West Townhall. It is kind of ironic. We had great weather to enjoy blossoms, but now it is one storm after another.

Ray, I just wanted to stop by and let you know about another upcoming AR MeetUp in Roseville:
Sacramento Area ActiveRain MeetUp #3 - Roseville, CA - Friday, 4/20/12 (3pm)
Those fruitless pear trees do look pretty incredible...and I agree, something I would expect to see in Narnia! :)
